Duties included being assigned to a United States Secret Service Financial Crimes Task Force where we were responsible for investigating cases involving counterfeit currency, bank fraud, loan fraud, synthetic identify theft, and credit card fraud. My other duties included conducting investigations of suspected felony tax violations and related financial crimes, using data mining as a tool for finding new income tax cases, and reviewing bank records for evidence of financial crimes such as money laundering.
