I started out as a regular cashier. Within a few weeks I was the main trainer for cashiers, and was promoted to customer service cashier. I was offered other high positions but I turned them down because I knew I was returning to school in January.

The customer experience manager oversaw all of the customer service needs, and was responsible for managing the Copy and Print Center. I worked the sales floor, and serviced important clients in the Copy and Print Center, and had the privilege of having the best numbers as a department in the store.

When I was hired the department was down $20,000 in year-to-date goals. When I moved to Tallahassee three months later, we were well into the green. I was involved with team building, superior customer service, small business advertising, and graphic design.

I studied philosophy for two years and theology for a semester. Over my time with the Diocese I volunteered at nursing homes, hospitals, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, church offices, youth ministries, and put on retreats. I created, planned, and led a group of 22 Seminarians to Washington D.C. for the March for Life in January 2012. I was the Class.

I taught 8th grade religion, which involved preparing my students to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, and educating them at a deeper level in the Catholic faith.
