Key Accountabilities & DutiesProcess loan documentation and fulfill funding requirements for Renewals, Assumptions, and Annual Reviews for all Commercial loans, Business lines of credit, and Letters of Credit.Prepare payouts and discharge documentation, administer partial principal reductions and full release of loan security for review and approval by the Senior Manager, Credit Funding & Administration and the Chief Risk Officer, send final documents to lawyer, prepare paid out files for shipment to Iron Mountain.First point-of-contact, collections, for commercial Members, including following up regarding NSF cheques and generating reportsManage and maintain all syndicated loans reports including manual calculations of interest, skims, and share percentages calculation on all syndicated loans reports.Maintain monthly insurance expiry report, collect past due insurance policies by contacting brokers and follow up with cancellations policy until insurance is up-to-date.Monitor past due maturities and provide monthly updates to Credit/Special Accounts.Process draws and payout requests for all mortgage receivable financing facilities.Manage and develop controls to ensure the integrity of the mortgage loan system and the accuracy of information as required by analysts; remit quarterly Commercial Small Business Financing administration fee.Assist Special Accounts with administration of the watchlist portfolio by updating the banking system, issuing payout statements, internal demand and non-renewal letters.Liaise and interact with borrowers, lenders, brokers, insurers, external vendors, and other departments to follow up for documentation and respond appropriately to any information requests.Work closely with Sr. Manager, Credit Funding and Administration.

Responsible for funding CMHC commercial mortgage product types such as purchases, refinances, assumptions, assignments and investor sales while supporting when required the funding of BES transactions. The incumbent will analyze complicated corporate structures and review legal documentation province wide with a strict adherence to legislative guidelines and Bank established policies.• Review multiple Commitments and CMHC Undertakings to Insure; requesting legal documents from Partners. There will be competing priorities, as the incumbent will also be following up for outstanding documents, receiving and reviewing legal documents for accuracy and enforceability on loans scheduled to close.A large component of the review will pertain to corporate structure of borrowing entities such as Limited Partnerships, Family Trusts, REITS AML exempt corporations or pensions.The incumbent is responsible for the file to be compliant.If documents fall outside of the AML guidelines, the incumbent is to refer back to the Partner or Lawyer requesting further AML information or the incumbent will Identify, recommend and prepare memo's to either the CFG Commercial Funding Manager, Compliance Department or VP, Commercial Lending outlining the rationale to proceed.In addition to legal review, the incumbent will review property Insurance, Title Insurance and tax certificates, making recommendations to Senior Management for any waivers. Ongoing Management of personal pipeline to meet prescribed deadlines.(60% )• Communication and collaboration is a key component to the position.In order to meet targeted closing dates.
