I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Anthony Cieri, and I am a graduate student studying Environmental Science at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. I am very interested in the position of the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist.I worked with soil I have extensive laboratory experience both inside the classroom and through my independent research which focuses on heavy metal uptake in plants.I am currently employed at Joint Venture Hospital Laboratories as a Business Associate handling day-to-day claims data entry. I am currently looking for an internship or part-time position that would provide me with on-the-job experience in the laboratory or in the field.Other relevant education and experience include:• Earned Biochemistry Undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan - Dearborn (May 2018; G.P.A.: 3.72; Graduated with High Distinction).• An active volunteer with the Friends of the Rouge from which I received training in Water Chemical Testing.• Graduate studies include digging soil samples from a plot of land based on an online government database and testing for texture, metal pollution, and organic matter.I would greatly welcome the opportunity to discuss how I may become a valuable member of your team.
