Personal Trainer
CurrentI have been a qualified personal trainer for 2 years now, however I have been training at the gym for 10+ years so I have a lot of experience of what works and what doesn't. I decided to become a personal trainer as my own training is a big part of my life and I'm very passionate about it and I want to use that along with my own experience to help others reach their fitness goal.During my time as a personal trainer I have helped a wide variety of people with different goals ranging from fat loss, building muscle to gaining strength for sports or to improve quality of life. A few of which are highlighted on my IG account @prestigetrainingandcoachingMy speciality which makes me unique is that I have competed and placed at a national level in powerlifting which is focused around lifting maximal weights in the squat, bench and deadlift which are movements that carry massive benefits to a variety of goals, carry over to sports and everyday life.My current best lifts are a 270kg squat, 160kg bench and 290kg deadlift all done safely and correctly which puts me in a great position to use my knowledge to coach my current and potential clients to ensure they get the most of their training and avoid injury.I'm constantly looking to expand my knowledge further to provide a better service as things change a lot so this allows me to keep updated with the latest studies. I regularly check for seminars and webinars to take part in so i'm up to date with the latest info.About meI am a very family oriented person and I love spending time with my children. I'm also a bit of a marvel geek and must have watched all the films about 100 times each, although now my children like them as much as me which is handy as now I can use them as an excuse to watch them.In my spare time and as part of my own training I like to compete in Powerlifting competitions and have done pretty well so far finishing 1st, 2nd and most recently 4th at my first national comp at the All Englands 2022
