Since beginning my new career as a driving instructor in 2001, my goal has always been to help create safer solo drivers, who can drive independently safely and instill in them lifelong skills. This drive and professionalism in the role were quickly recognized, and within a few years, I began being approached by other organizations to help train new instructors and also to represent the industry at large. What makes me stand out from other driver trainers is my range of experiences in dealing not only with young learner drivers but also with training of new instructors, communicating with key stakeholders, and being a part of various opportunities to be involved in program development and review.
