As an Allocation Analyst at Crate & Barrel, I am entrusted with managing inventory flow for all Decor & Textiles items, analyzing sales & transportation trends, forecasting supply levels, and ensuring product is on-hand where it would perform best. I've completed a BA in Fashion Merchandising at Columbia College Chicago, where I learned the fundamentals of merchandising, marketing, and trend forecasting, and have additionally spent time studying Architecture & Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology.Since joining Crate & Barrel as a Merchandise Operations Coordinator, I've been promoted to Merchandising Assistant - Branded Kitchen, and then to my current role, Allocation Analyst - Decor & Textiles. In my time at C&B, I've been able to use my diverse background & amalgamation of skills to drive the business in various roles & departments. My product knowledge, research ability, and understanding of retail has helped me successfully grow sales and add new products & vendors into our assortments, while my experience in CS and comfort with computer systems has helped me pick up new programs/processes quickly, maintain effective product service levels, and create process efficiencies within the company. I'm most motivated by efficiency, innovation, personal growth, and by contributing to the growth & success of Crate & Barrel.
