I encourage you to read my resume to see my full list of skills and work experience. Here are a few key places of employment that have provided me with such skills thus far in my education and employment journey. As a Management Trainee at Enterprise, I learned the basics of running a small business as well as direct sales to customers and all that comes with customer/client retention. Actively maintaining customer satisfaction was further developed while working as a wood renewal technician at N-Hance of Greater Baltimore. I learned PPS Spraying and entry-level carpentry, all while leading jobs. As a Head Cashier at Lowes Home Improvement, I was responsible for managing the front end of the store through its appearance, operation, and organization of employees in a timely manner, handling some logistics of managing employees on the front end. This type of fast-paced work environment was also reinforced when I was an electrical apprentice within Local 24, Baltimore’s local Electrician Union. Here I learned the basics of commercial electrical work and how to use hand and power tools correctly and safely. Here I also learned some insight into construction management and the importance of maintaining materials and tools for the sake of safety and cost. This was all done in a medium to fast-paced setting, as there were deadlines to be met for work to be completed. I personally was responsible for learning from and assisting licensed electricians in my company by acquiring the proper materials and tools for a job, followed by my assistance in building electrical systems. All of this was done safely, and safety was key especially since the area of work was usually construction sites. Education also plays a role in my daily life. I am a college graduate with a B.A. in Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore County B.A. I also have had hands on experience as a Social Work intern at the Veterans Health Administration. While at my internship, I learned many valuable professional, social work, and office skills in the healthcare setting. In class and at my internship, I was constantly learning how to resolve issues with others by meeting them where they are presently; mentally and emotionally. This knowledge is currently being expanded upon as I work at The Klein Family Harford County Crisis Center as the Lead Phone Counselor (second to my department supervisor). Through this learned knowledge, I can apply it properly to real-world situations, especially at my place of employment.
