All of which require an in depth knowledge of QA/QC techniques, standard methods of water analysis, South Florida Water Management District Standard Operating Procedures, DEP Standard Operating Procedures for field collection and laboratory analysis, and NELAP & TNI Classification, physical analysis, and chemical analysis of hydric soils, sediments, and unsterilized foreign soil samples including: pH, drying, grinding, acid digestion, gravimetric measurements, moisture & bulk density, total phosphorus, and metals. Classification, physical analysis and chemical analysis of biological tissue (zooplankton periphyton, submerged aquatic vegetation, emergent aquatic vegetation, mixed plant litter, apple snails including, moisture, total phosphorus, chlorophyll, APA, and metals. Conduct physical and chemical analysis on aqueous samples for inorganic nutrients using bench techniques and automated laboratory instrumentation. Volunteer to assist other Sections when needed including Applied Sciences to help with experimental and monitoring programs by conducting various field work positions from boat and airboat
