Lake City Army Ammunition Plant Successfully managed specialized groups to execute established project plans while managing costs, resources and adhering to project contracts, scopes, and baselines. Published and presented regular and timely project status updates to management and stakeholders. Represented the Project Management Organization, PMO, in recurring Request for Proposals (RFPs) from the US Government customer. Lead proposal and costing efforts for project development. Including supporting quoting activities and negotiations. All project documentation was managed and compiled for submittal through contracts. Managed multi-million-dollar budgets including proposal costs for materials, equipment, labor and travel. Led project team to establish a new $28M work-center. Assessed the facility structural integrity and equipment needs. Refurbished existing facility with addition of 15 new machines ahead of schedule and under budget. Interfaced government quality representatives to discuss project status, upcoming tasks, and new action items. Any significant changes within projects were documented and communicated to management prior to customer. Ensured compliance with the Defense Security Service, Defense Contract Management Agency, U.S. Army, and other applicable state and federal regulations pertaining to matters within scope of assigned projects. Designed and administered gated design reviews, key performance indicators (KPI), project metrics, and site acceptance evaluations. Complied with established procedures and work instructions to set team priorities. Spearheaded numerous in-progress phased ammunition machinery modernization projects which delivered the machines on plant despite numerous challenges encountered in installation and testing.
