Provide value added engineering management and consulting services to support client organizations. Established engineering product development services for medical devices, robotics, and metal fabrication through India sourcing office. Managed all high visibility / high level technical engagement with key customers to provide solutions and exceed product quality and delivery expectations. Managed development, prototyping, and UL certification of new permanent magnet motor technology (ECM). Supported expansion of Asia and Vietnam supply base through product development and project transfer to most capable manufacturing sources. Established NPI protocol to formally launch and manage engineering projects. Implemented program to manage 3rd party certification process for customers. Became resident expert and began managing new and existing induction motor product development. Major achievements and contributions include:▫ Increased engineering and administrative staff from 2 to 5 domestically and from 10 to 20 internationally to support $10MM revenue growth▫ Established NPI process and reporting metrics (KPIs) to support new engineering product categories and expand sourcing operations in India, China, and Vietnam▫ Established Supplier Quality Management System to effectively evaluate, qualify, audit, and score using quality dashboards for more than 250 international suppliers▫ Managed the 3rd party regulatory and compliance testing process for UL / ETL, RoHS, Certificates of Compliance, and CE on behalf of customers▫ Supervised all prototype and pilot production builds at various factories throughout Asia to ensure that reliable & repeatable processes, sound assembly & test procedures and quality inspections are implemented to exceed customer expectations
