One of my main skills, is that I am polyglottal, I speak Italian and English fluently and Spanish at a language level of C1. Throughout the many years of work experience , a day has not gone by where I didn't make use of any of my foreign languages. In today's age having another language is crucial, especially in retail; having an extra language allows you to have so many new opportunities with customers, making connections with more customers; therefore creating a customer relation, resulting in making a loyal and returning customer whilst in the meanwhile making sure the customer was given a memorable experience. In my current job at Canada Goose, one of my biggest achievements is that I made over 10,000€ in a day for the company, whilst having a UPT of 1.75 on that day. Which in fact was one of the highest sales in day to be ever recorded in that branch. You might ask , why would you consider it an achievement? I would consider it an achievement as not only I made profit for the company, but I made sure each customer was converted into a possible loyal customer for the branch and the brand, whilst making sure i connected with my customer, understood their needs and used my profound knowledge of our products within our store to make sure i could find what exactly the costumer had in mind.Now what i have been introduced to is clienteling; the logic behind it is, if i manage to spend some quality time with the costumer, form somewhat of a bond and understand what they are interested in, why should this knowledge be just gone after the sale? it shouldn't , this is where by having basic idea of what the customer likes and creating somewhat of a profile, you can use this knowledge and then actually contact the customer in the future if there are items that you think this customer may like " because ... they said they liked...". Overall investing that quality time with the costumer to then create a more personal and tailored shopping experience for the costumer, therefore making the overall shopping experience easier.
