Interplex was bought by another company, who owned several different companies. This included the IT service management company Hexaware. As part of the acquisition the IT department was rebadged as Hexaware employees.I led the knowledge transfer efforts, trained the new team and documented technical procedures.

Once I graduated college, Interplex offered me a full time position (Corporate owner of the Interplex Engineered Products branch). I was brought on as a Systems Administrator and an MIS Support Lead. While working for the corporate entity I expanded my support from 1 branch to all of the branches using the ERP and MES software I was familar with, Plex Online ERP, SAP, and Hydra MES.

While in college I worked for the URI MTS doing support for the lecture capture software, helping the administrator who managed this software. I would manage user accounts, helped to record user guides, training videos and more. We grew to expand into live event streaming and recording, where I was able to help test hardware and software, as well as went to the events to operate the camera and equipment.

Brought on during the summer for a temporary 2 week long position to scan all inventory in the warehouse in preparation of a new ERP/MES platform. After 2 weeks ended I was brought on for 40 hours a week for the remainder of the summer break to help support the ERP/MES rollout and post go-live support.Then every winter and summer break I would come back to work 40 hours a week. During this time I started learning basic IT skills including end user support, Windows Server administration, database administration, network administration, ERP configuration and support, MES configuration and support, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMWare, VSphere and more. Eventually I was working during the school year on weekends and during the week on days I could keep my schedule free of classes.
