Evening shift central supply supervisor. My duties include and are not limited to employee relations, regarding scheduling, discipline, training, annual reviews, FMLA and product issues. I communicate with nursing managers, charge nurses, department technicians, and department managers in almost every aspect of the hospital. And also the Central Supply coordinators. I often assist in resolving inventory and department issues. I conduct employee rounding's to insure our technicians have all tools needed to do their job, and understand any new and existing rules and regulations.I work close with our Central Supply Department Coordinators to help improve product flow and ensure that our customers have everything they need on their respective back-up carts. We assist with communication and forward any information or requests from our areas covered to the coordinators to improve their work flow. I use tools taught to me from courses offered within Denver Health. For example an A-3 which assists in breaking down an issue and creating a plan to do so. I work along side fellow Supervisors on A-3 problem solving projects to help us improve our processes and increase productivity. We are always looking at ways to make our processes more efficient.

While working at Sygma my leadership team and I were in charge of maintaining product integrity, inventory control and and resolved inventory issues, will call service, direct customer service, employee hiring and training, load diagram development, received in-coming freight, order selection, product shipment, load quality control, employee discipline and recognition. Utilized the IBM AS-400 inventory control program. Experience with Motorola inventory handhelds. Have experience with schedule building and payroll approval. In my 8 years at Sygma Network I learned a lot about customer service, built long lasting peer relationships and learned a lot about myself. I worked along side some of the best people in the work force, and gained an abundance of knowledge from them.

I selected products that would be delivered to a vast array of bigger chain restaurants and deli's. We were in charge of insuring that all product picked was correct and the quantity picked was what they had requested.In that time I was also a loader. I would set up our semi trailers by using a diagram to ensure that the stops were accessible to the driver at point of delivery. I verified the correct pallets were on to the trucks and the pallets were secure for the safety of the driver and driver helper. I gained a lot of knowledge as it pertains to work relationships and conflict resolution. I helped to implement new processes and methods to create an effective warehouse environment. I took on projects and worked alongside some of the best in the business.

Greater Denver Area

I was in charge of stocking product on store shelves that had been delivered the night or morning before. These items were ordered by my account supervisor. I was in charge of communicating with store management to sell in displays and promotions approved by Coca Cola. I also had to maintain our display and allocated sales area. I set-up displays and other promotional visual displays that were approved by Coca Cola. I was in charge of the verification of all products and that they were properly rotated daily and that our shelves were clean and presentable.
