Responsible for all aspects of the organization’s final mile dedicated operations. Coordinating home delivery operations from businesses direct to the end consumer ensuring accurate and on-time shipments. Responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and directing the activities of the Dedicated Final Mile Team.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Manage all dedicated operations team personal - Hiring, training, scheduling, development• Attend/manage Home Delivery Operations at several GTA located client warehouses.• Create and manage solutions for peaks and valleys of volume with our customers.• Maintain targets, objectives, and customer driven KPI’s and metrics• Implement & manage safe practices and ensure all are compliant with OH & S.• Manage SOP adherence and identify potential gaps for continuous improvement.• Perform annual reviews for all Dedicated Division employees.• Manage Delivery Partners ensuring drivers are following all SOPs when performing deliveries• Manage billing for all Dedicated Accounts• Manage hours/payroll for all dedicated operations employees• Assist with escalated DP or CSR issues – keeping the customer first.• Create and Manage new processes for all Final Mile operations as the business needs• Ensuring safe practices are being followed at all B2C loadoutsCOMPETENCIES:• Strong working knowledge of Final Mile operations and management• Time management skills and the ability to delegate• Excellent leadership and organizational skills• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – solution oriented• Adequate knowledge of various TMS (Shyftbase, ClearD, Descartes, Dispatch Track)• Outstanding customer service skills and leadership• Able to conduct effective dock meetings with Delivery Partners & motivate staff• Ability to train employees on new processes and procedures• Ability to provide constructive criticism
