Freda's award-winning illustrations and paintings have appeared in numerous publications including the New Yorker, Time, Rolling Stone, and the New York Times. He has been selected to be part of The Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, and American Illustration annual competitions. Freda considers himself an information warrior, and his politically charged imagery currently graces millions of computer screens via a wide spectrum of mainstream and alternative websites. His artwork often re-purposes vintage, American ephemera into ironic, often darkly humorous takes on the issues burning in the zeitgeist.
