Anthony is a geological consultant with over 30 years experience in structural geology, sequence stratigraphy, full volume 3D seismic interpretation (PaleoScan) and Play Based Exploration. He has developed innovative new techniques and integrated approaches that have brought new geological insights, plays and prospects to numerous basins in various geological settings throughout Australia, PNG, SE Asia and West Africa for a range of companies (e.g. Shell, Petronas, Oil Search, Rosneft, Mubadala, Lion Energy, FAR, Inpex). Recent consulting projects include a structural study of the PNG fold-thrust belt for Oil Search, tectono-sequence stratigraphy and depositional systems study offshore Senegal for FAR, and regional integrated basin studies in offshore Sarawak for PETRONAS and INPEX. He has published several journal articles in major publications throughout his career that have been widely used in both industry and research arenas. He is also a Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia and worked on the Quantitative Seismic Stratigraphy project, using full volume seismic interpretation techniques (PaleoScan) to investigate the link between shallow marine and deepwater depositional systems in structurally active shelf margins.
