Manasquan, Nj

Beach Re-nourishment project from Manasquan River Inlet to Belmar, NJ. Included pumping 1.2 million cubic yards in a 4 mile stretch to replenish the beach which was eroded from Hurricane Sandy. Duties included overseeing hydrographic and topographic surveys, quality control systems, and being the liaison between Dutra and the USACE.

Worked with the Dredge Stuyvesant and a drag barge to clear the shipping channel of the Delaware River for the Philadelphia USACE District. Duties included running and processing multibeam surveys, creating survey products, determining dredge areas, determining drag areas, volume calculations, and daily reports.

Bass Lake, Ca

Chief Surveyor for the Dutra Group during the Crane Valley Dam Seismic Retrofit Project on Bass Lake, CA. Duties included efficient surveys for sedimentation dredging to bedrock at the base of the dam, and quick turn around and planning of rock dumps by bottom dumping of dump scows. Autocad and GPS tracking equipment were used guide rock placement. Other duties were setting up GPS equipment on tender tug, excavator, and clamshell dredge to ensure precise dredging and rock placement.

QC for the Dredge Stuyvesant during the first job as a new Dutra dredge. The job was a contract for the Mississippi River's Southwest Pass.

Construction Quality Control Manager for Richmond Inner and Outer Harbor Channel Maintenance Dredging Project. Point of contact for Dutra Dredging to the USACE San Francisco District for all QC issues involving project. DB Paula Lee was the equipment used for this project.

Longview, Washington

Project Engineer for The Dutra Group's DB Paula Lee on the last phase of the Columbia River Channel Improvements Project in Longview, WA. Duties included conducting single beam hydrographic surveys, upkeep of Trimble GPS barge positioning system, providing CAD products, calculating dredge volumes, conducting water quality tests, and scheduling. Gained experience with using a robotic total station for dredge positioning under Lewis and Clark Bridge.

Newport Beach, Ca & Dutch Harbor, Ak

Conducted, post processed, and evaluated hydrographic surveys for use with volumes and dredge navigation. With this data I created CAD survey products using Autocad.
