Focusing on gathering a large recurring volunteer base for Steve Napolitano's campaign, I was able to bring in 25-30 volunteers throughout the week, using social media, contacts in the community, and creating events. My responsibilities included speaking in front of large crowds ranging from 20 – 300 students for the purpose of recruitment, which included key clubs, high school students, special community events, local community colleges, and much more. One of the incentives to bring in students involved myself training many of the canvassers, as well as guiding students in interview processes, writing a resume, as well as explaining what a cover letter is.
