Hello all!My name is Anthony Haley. I'd like to begin my vocation.I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Grand Valley State University. My academic background includes in-depth studies on Geographic Issues, Urban Planning, Energy Benchmarking, and Local Environmental Issues. I have hands-on experience in environmental research, having contributed to projects on urban noise pollution and energy efficiency.During my recent internship with the City of Flint, I played a crucial role in collecting and managing energy data, laying the groundwork for the city's decarbonization project. My work involved collaborating with private sector partners, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to improve energy efficiency in municipal buildings. As someone who was born and raised in the City of Flint, it gives me pride to begin the decarbonization process for the area.Previously, as a Cartography Assistant at CTI and Associates, I gained experience in soil testing and geographic data management. I also have a diverse background in the culinary industry, where I honed my skills in high-pressure environments, team coordination, sanitation standards, and inventory management. I am currently working my way to become certified in ServSafe.With strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, I am proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with federal environmental regulations. I am passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to projects that drive environmental improvements and community well-being.
