Position Summary: Senior Project Manager accountable for the coordination and integration of project activities across multiple, functional lines in order to develop, execute and manage to the project plan. Responsible for delivery of the project on schedule, within budget and to expected project outcomes. Leading multiple concurrent projects across numerous internal and external product lines. Managing activities for medium to large scale upgrades, implementations, infrastructure, initiatives and special projects. Analyzes customer requirements, objectives and methodology to determine best practices. Drives the reporting and management of scope and timeline as it pertains to projects within an assigned area. Responsible for the timely resolution of issues and risks. Directs the work and resource and financial planning. Primary duties and responsibilities include:• Creates detailed project assessments and SOW’s • Creates project plans and schedules. Proactively identify gaps in internal plans and external expectations. Drive projects to completion within time and budget • Develops positive relationships with other teams and clients. • Manages project environments through product lifecycle including hardware & software procurement, build and configuration, network and security configuration, and coordinate and schedule resources. • Manages metric gathering and reporting • Multitask between multiple projects and project phases • Communication planning to disseminate project status/information/expectations to internal and external (client) resources/stakeholders • Overall project leadership• Pursues excellence in all aspects of project delivery

Directs project activities and resources within Avaya Marketing & Sales vertical project portfolio. Responsible for the successful, timely and cost effective release of project deliverables. Facilitates new product evaluation, solution architecture and strategic team planning. Oversees vendor management including SOWs, RFPs, contracts, etc. Responsible for management of full SDLC from inception through production delivery. Acts as primary and central point of project and product communications while providing encouragement, direction and leadership to all stakeholders. Additional responsible for working directly with Avaya’s varied Global IT teams. Successfully manages QA resources, enterprise IT architecture teams, development resources, production and infrastructure groups to deliver products that routinely exceed customer expectations – converting ideas into reality.

Completed work for the Colorado Department of Public Safety (CDPS) on a 36 month contract in the roll of Project Manager. Accountable for the coordination and integration of project activities across multiple, functional lines in order to develop, execute and manage to the project plan. Responsible defining, deploying and monitoring all project management processes to insure repeatable and successful project outcomes. Duties included development of the master project plan, scope definition and creep control, creation of the communications plan, schedule and cost controls using a variety of automated tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Clarity Systems budgeting, analysis and modeling software.Additionally, acted as the Microsoft SharePoint project administrator for artifact/document management. Responsible for analyzing technical system requirements ensuring each requirement is actionable, measurable, testable, related to identified business needs or opportunities and defined to a level of detail sufficient for system design. Provided technical analysis of system performance, availability, scalability and security requirements.
