The main aspect of my role is to monitor high risk areas of the business including Anti Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring, Financial HM Treasury and OFAC sanction monitoring, complaint monitoring, calls to customers and litigation to be sure we are adhering to the 11 principles and 6 customer outcomes which is set out within the Consumer credit sourcebook (CONC) in the Financial Conduct authority (FCA) handbook. Additional regulators I monitor Cabot's processes against are the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), ofcom and the Lending Standards Board (LSB). In addition to the Business as usual activities highlighted above, I am also required to conduct reviews on different areas of the business. Gap and trend analysis is essential to my role to highlight potential risks involving not only regulatory but also company policies. Following up and support is also a key part to my role within the compliance monitoring team. I also meet and work closely on a regular basis with key members of Cabot Financial across all sites around the country.

My role at Cabot Financial involves communicating to customers in financial difficulty and finding a solution to improve their financial situation.I would understand the customer's situation of how they got into financial difficulty and their current situation in line with Treating customers fairly (TCF) set by the Lending Standards Board (LSB) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) then tailor a solution to their needs and become debt free. The role is very high demanding and is very high paced so keeping focus and delivering the best customer service is imperative. This has led me to become one of a few platinum funders in the 13 year history of the company.To be successful in my role, team work is essential as we all have individual targets as well as team targets to hit. I would do this by giving 100% as well encouraging my team to do their best by motivating them.

For the time I was at Lordswood FC as their physiotherapist, I was heavily involved with the player's health as well as communication with the management team. This was a voluntary role which I took in the evenings alongside my FT job My day to day role involved assessing the players injury or concerns and diagnosing the problem that was affecting their preformance by using different examination methods mainly using range of motion of the joint.I would then use the results from the diagnosis to advise the management team the extent of the injury, the programme that will be set up for that player and length of time to expect the player to be out of action for. After I have done that I would tailor a rehabilitation programme including exercises for the individual to condition the area of injury and then conduct a fitness programme in relation to football and in particular the position they played in to get the player back to full fitness.
