For the past 12+ years I've been in the call center world and applied my skills from everywhere to customer service to IT infrastructure. I started out on the phones as a Data Tech CSR. I took an immediate shine to it and advanced quickly. I liked what I was doing so much I decided to go back to college and get my degree in CIS. I took the long route in my degree but received some valuable experience in Graphic Design along the way. This has helped me immensely with understanding software such as Adobe Create Suite and in preparing reports for C-level management.I've touched just about everything; such as server admin, networking, programming, virtualization, DBs, and so much more. My favorites have always been programming and DBs. I really enjoy the structure each brings and the ability to generate powerful solutions for everyday business needs. I've also been a fan of the Linux environment, but realize Windows is a necessary tool also. I've both installed pre-packaged solution to help the company, as well as, develop some of my own. From a personal standpoint I'm a huge video game nerd. It's pretty safe to say I spend at least half my day in front of a computer in one form or another. Some of my fondest memories were from old LucasArts games which helped fuel my passion to solve problems and look at them from every angle. I also enjoy riding my bicycle and taking walks, so, I'm not a complete shut in. It usually takes me a minute to warm up to folks, but once I do there is no shutting me up.
