I was an ILS manager with BAE Systems, managing the ILS activities on major projects. I have also gained considerable experience in the preparation of bids and proposals. This included producing the WBS structures, together with cost and resource estimates. I have been involved in generating a Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) strategy for the company to address the CLS requirements on acquired Support contracts. I made the ‘natural’ progression into ILS engineering, and have found my experience in ARM&T engineering invaluable to my ILS activities.I have performed spares ranging and scaling calculations on several programmes.Performed all of the MIL STD 1388 LSA activities on a Naval Weapons test set project to the complete satisfaction of the US Navy customer.I am totally familiar with the DEF STAN 00-600 and JSP886 requirements and very experienced in ‘tailoring’ ILS/LSA activities to suit particular project requirements. I am experienced in the use of various software packages to address ILS tasks including LCC and TLC evaluations.I have generated numerous ISPs, ILSPs, LSAPs, and have produced the full complement of related ILS element plans to address specific programme requirements.I have excellent interpersonal skills, and work well within a team environment to achieve project goals. I am self motivated and able to work with the minimum of supervision/direction.
