My last role before I took my destiny into my own hands and started independently consulting, using the multiple experiences and skills I have acquired during my career was as COO of Airlift Express Africa, an online grocery startup.Over the last few years, I have mainly been involved in Strategic projects across private equity at Lightrock, leading multiple buy side deals and Discovery Health, assisting them in C suite strategy to launch insurance in Africa, Amplify, selling digital assets in Asia and their latest innovation, hospital at home.I completed my MBA at IMD in Switzerland in order to consolidate the knowledge and experience I had gained over many years working in operational, strategic and management positions. I was previously employed by Agis-Holdings as a consulting manager. Agis has 3 arms - Investment (Private Equity) , C-suite Strategy and Development. I gained experience in all these spheres. My strategy experience involved developing strategies for large banks and continental digital and telecoms companies, as well as the valuation of acquisitions in the health sector.In 2018 I was appointed interim general manager of One-Juice, South Africa's premium cold-pressed juice company. I was chosen to lead the company out of a dire situation and to grow the company by building a production facility and ensuring scalability throughout the value chain. This also included dealing with stakeholders in managerial positions and on the ground in order to provide renewed hope in the company.Prior to Agis I worked at Delta Partners as a senior business analyst where I developed skills as a management consultant in the telecoms and digital space, representing Pan-African telecoms firms and developing high level strategy for infrastructure deployment. I also worked on projects centered around Silicon Valley for a large sovereign wealth fund.My career started at Weatherford International, a major oil and gas services company that specializes in assisting major international oil companies with exploration and development of their oil fields .I lead the Rig Systems Services Team in Sub-Saharan Africa which deploys projects from initial tender to installation and operations stage. I gained vital experience during my hands-on implementation of operational systems all over the world. I graduated from the University of Cape Town after successfully completing my Bachelor of Science in Engineering specializing in the area of Mechatronics which is an electrically orientated robotics and control degree.
