Anthony was a Member of the Property Council of Australia (QLD) Planning Committee. The Committee is responsible for influencing the State’s legislative planning environment and working with local governments to secure the most efficient planning framework.

Anthony was the Manager of Economic Development and Strategy at Logan City Council. He was responsible for promoting and delivering the economic vision for the then fifth largest Council in Australia. His role included managing Council's investment attraction and property development priorities, as well as leading long term strategic and infrastructure planning and investment.

Anthony was a Member of the UQ Planning Advisory Board, providing advice to the School to inform course planning and delivery from a government and industry perspective.
