I am a graduate with an Environmental Studies major from Seton Hall University, with a passion for protecting and preserving the natural environment. From August 2023 to December 2023, I worked as a cyanobacteria intern at the Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC), a nonprofit organization that advocates for the conservation and restoration of Cape Cod's natural resources and ecosystems.As a cyanobacteria intern, I was part of a Cape-wide initiative to collect and analyze cyanobacteria data in freshwater ponds and to communicate the findings to local town officials and the general public. I used my field work and water sampling skills to collect samples from various ponds, and my Microsoft Office skills to enter and process the data using Excel. From this internship, I have gained valuable experience in environmental research, data analysis, and communication, and I have learned how to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals and volunteers. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to support the mission and vision of your organization, and to contribute to the sustainability and resilience of our planet.
