•Develop, plan, direct and implement programs, risk mitigation, continuous improvement and manage workers’ compensation and return to work program. •Maintain proactive safety, health and environmental training programs to plan, deliver and monitor training.•Provide expert guidance to assess the impact of safety, health and environmental regulations as they affect the company’s operations and formulate and implement policies, procedures, programs and goals to ensure compliance and effectively lead the plants in achieving these goals.•Facilitate ongoing safety inspections and hazard safety analysis for all production facilities to identify safety and health risks and compliance exposures. Develop strategies to reduce or eliminate these risks and exposures, coordinate and direct plant efforts to ensure the implementation of these processes and programs.•Coordinate required reporting for all incidents and investigations with site management, assist with management of injuries, illnesses and noncompliance incidents, prepare detailed written reports and propose/track completion of countermeasures to determine root cause and minimize recurrence. •Define, obtain and coordinate necessary Safety, Health and Environmental reports, permits, communications and monthly safety reports for all facilities.•Perform ergonomic assessments and provide technical guidance to employees to minimize risks associated with material handling, repetitive motion and workstation design.•Develop and maintain emergency response plans, lead emergency response efforts, plan and execute drills, and conduct associated training.•Develop and implement environmental control activities to ensure compliance for air, water and solid and hazardous waste permitting. My responsibilities include: a. Creating purchase orders for all of the parts needed for inventory and R&M. b. Managing inventory min and max quantities to assure inventory is on hand when needed.c. Creating, planning, and scheduling all work orders for the maintenance department.d. Saving money by receiving numerous quotes when ordering parts and supplies.e. Receiving parts and supplies and matching purchase order, invoice and receiver and assure all is correct.f. Creating and updating equipment preventative maintenance procedures.g. Managing the storeroom by keeping it clean and organized so everything can be found efficiently.h. Communicate with vendors and contractors on parts and jobs needed done.I.
