With 11 years studying and working in design and education, I am an artist, designer and educator working in high school and college. I have worked with three Milwaukee area school districts, writing, aligning and teaching art and design curriculum, as well as with the University of WI Milwaukee and Bryant and Stratton College in education and design. Over the past 5 years since earning my MFA, I have been researching and implementing Design Thinking and Creative Confidence into the curriculum and instruction of the schools image worked with. My goal is to help educational institutes push their offerings for their students to prepare them for the workforce of the future, and jobs yet to be created.
