Network Operations Center Engineer
CurrentI have been employed as Broadcast Network Operator in the Broadcast Operation Centre at Arqiva Emley Moor since May 2001.My Work Duties are as follows :-Use monitoring and control systems to control, configure, and operate Television transmitter equipment systems, networks, and platforms directly and remotely.Provide network monitoring and event management through the operation support systems ( OSS ) in line with service level agreements and network availability figures.Take corrective action and ensure incidents are directed to the correct resolver group to secure rapid resolution.Enter accurate incident report/logs and service detail/schedules into the system and track reported incidents to satisfactory resolution.Drive the resolution of service affecting events, creating incidents, applying technical and engineering knowledge and escalating to the appropriate resolver groups where necessary.Communicate maintenance schedules of arqiva's in life products and services to internal and external stakeholders.
