I was involved in our family newspaper business, NWN Media Ltd, for nearly 20 years before we sold the titles and the press to Newsquest in September 2018.Since then, I have been involved in our next business MoJo2 and our Partnership (MMJB) which manages the properties left over from the sale of the newspapers.The main building, and the one that has recently (2019/20) gone through a major refurbishment, is our site in Mold recently renamed, MediaPoint.During this refurbishment, we have managed to secure two key tenants, with Newsquest occupying circa 4,500 sq ft and Renal Services UK occupying circa 7,000 sq ft. Together they occupy the entire ground floor of the main office building.We are currently in negotiations to secure a tenant to occupy the entire first floor (which I will update here once finalised) in the Spring of this year.That leaves just the warehouse (10,500 sq ft) and a small garage unit to rent out, for which we are talking various interested parties.Beyond this site, we have another industrial building on Deeside Industrial Estate where currently, Newsquest print some of their titles from (we own the building not the press etc), and a series of high street premises in Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Welshpool, Chester and Oswestry.
