CurrentDirector of Fleet and Facilities Maintenance, DC Streetcars DDOT, (Washington D.C.)January 2021 to Present▪ Oversight of fixed route fleet consists of 30 foot and 40 foot, 178 Gilligs 25 percent, New Flyers 75 percent, 75 electric buses, 600 school buses▪ Oversight of paratransit fleet includes 500+ vehicles with wheelchair lifts-200 cutaways, and 200 minivans▪ Manages a public utilities and public works services department, including maintenance, facilities, and repair▪ Administerson-the-floormonitoringoftheagency'spreventativemaintenanceprogramtoensure time frame aids are established for the regular maintenance of all 6,000 DDOT vehicles andequipment▪ Work includes participation in long-range planning for infrastructure needs, regulatory compliance, and service excellence preparation and administration of capital and operatingbudgets and oversight of capital projects▪ Managestheretirementanddisposalofallretiredequipmentandvehicles▪ Requests for necessary vendor credits or reimbursements while maintaining vendor procurement documentation and transactions▪ Assists DC Streetcars Lite Rail and DDOT in securing goods, services, and construction for the Municipality through the utilization of ethically competitive purchasing methods for cost projectmanaging▪ Oversees the review and processing of purchase requisitions, fleet, and facility for subcontract repair estimates and invoices; oversees the ordering of parts for inventory and warranty work▪ Assistswiththeadministrationandnegotiationofcontractsforawiderangeofservices▪ Conducts daily field inspections of 6 facilities and bridges (internal/ external) to determine the extent of general maintenance required.
