As an elected official of Teamsters Local 700, my role as Executive Board Trustee requires me to provide oversight of the financial affairs of the Local Union. Additionally, as Trustee I'm one of seven members of the Executive Board that votes on all matters pertaining to our 10,000 plus membership.As a Seasoned Business Representative with more than six years of experience my responsibilities include managing the affairs of each bargaining unit under my supervision, which includes serving as Chief Negotiator in contract negotiations, the filing, processing, and resolving of more than one thousand grievances, establishing and maintaining sound working relationships between the membership and the Local Union, mediating differences between the members and the employer, including ensuring a prospeous relationship between Labor and Management, the supervision and training of more than fifty Union Stewards. In addition my role as Executive Board Trustee/Business Representatives affords me the opportunity to address the more than 10,000 members of Teamsters Local Union No. 700.Specialities include fluent in the area of benefit negotiations, particularly with Taft-Hartley Funds, served as Chief Negotiator in approximately sixty separate and distinct collective bargaining agreements, and training of new staff.
