Account Manager
CurrentCurrently I’m working as an Manager 1 at JB Hunt where I manage account management activities and coordinate logistics and warehouse operation, drivers’ relationship building, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. I’m in charge of a warehouse with total area of 45,000 square feet and optimally organized inventory, administering logistical processes and procedures with six trucks. I monitor KPI's and report directly to the customer to ensure goal achieve in line with customer requirements. It is worth mentioning that, I oversee all aspects of safety compliance, billing, routing, monthly P&L analysis versus budget, and daily dispatching while remaining detail oriented. I act as an internal resource to maintain continuous communication with the team, outside carriers, and customers.The following are highlights of my contributions to JB Hunt:☛ Established account management and retention best practices by successfully managing a unique start-up customer account and helped the company acquire multiple other customers in the same lane with annual profit of over $100M.☛ Augmented customer satisfaction and generated repeat business by optimizing customer’s buying experience, providing best-quality product and service, and establishing enduring relationships.☛ Provided leadership, oversight, and training to a team of seven drivers and 30 warehouse workers to stimulate peak performance drive continuous professional development.☛ Promptly resolved warehouse problems as well as client escalations by professionally communicating with customers, following up to ensure a positive end result, and avoiding recurrence of issues.☛ Enabled staff to consistently pass all OSHA audits by guarantying accurate preparation of forms, files, records, reports, and other documents pertaining to equipment and inventory purchase, receiving, storage, and delivery.
