🔹 As a Systems Specialist for the City of Ontario, I am dedicated to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Customer Information Systems powered by Advanced Utility Systems. My role involves providing critical support to ensure these systems operate smoothly and meet the needs of our community as well as providing key reporting needs to our utilities staff to transform data into actionable insights for decision-making, service improvement, and auditing.🔹 I am also a proactive member of the Data Team, where I help design and implement a comprehensive data governance program. Recently, I developed and delivered training for data stewards, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed to manage data responsibly and uphold data quality standards across the organization. This initiative is crucial in fostering a culture of accountability and ensuring that data is treated as a valuable asset.🔹 My background in data analysis and machine learning has equipped me with a deep understanding of data-driven decision-making and advanced analytical techniques, enabling me to tackle complex challenges and drive meaningful change. My technical skill set includes proficiency in SQL, Python, and Java, enabling me to manage and manipulate data effectively while implementing robust solutions.🔹 Prior to my current role, I worked as a Sales Lead at Under Armour, where I gained valuable management experience. This role honed my leadership skills and taught me the importance of effective team collaboration, customer engagement, and strategic sales planning.🔹 I am passionate about leveraging technology and data to enhance public services and foster community engagement.
