Working for Castellucci Hospitality Group(CHG) was a great experience. Working for them originally in high school, I entered management upon returning from college. It was a good time as the new franchised locations were opening. My previous experience and passion meant I understood the concept better than colegues and was chosen to represent the company in these new locations. Ensuring a seemless customer experience from location to location. High volume, fine dining with award winning wine and food. Keeping the concept consistent amoungst locations while each restaurant has a different investor group to appease takes a special skill. Tasked with piecing together standardized training, my job evolved into Training SOPs and continued education for all front and back of house employees. As cannabis took hold in America cuisine enfusied with cannabis became popular. With an outstanding offer to work with a progressive company out in Oregon to help standardize a small high-endcannabis infused food concept, Kumba Farms. Originally a collective many lead growers came from different backgrounds. This possed a unique situation with standardization. I took the biological approach knowing the patients benefit more from cleaner medicine. With quality, safety, and a dedication to produce medicinal grade edibles for patients, I felt a huge pride in being part of this company. They brought such care and service to cannabis patients. Humanizing their experience as cannabis patients when they didnt always get that from the world. This rang so true with me and instantly made me clear that this was my new passion. Even though my job was clear my undeniable passion for the plant made me want to get hands on with their processes. With some convincing I finally got my chance and my first production team.
