I am a partner in the property team at Mullins Lawyers. I have more than 20 years' experience in the field and am one of only a small number of property law specialists accredited by the Queensland Law Society.I act for property owners on a range of property-related matters including the acquisition and disposal of retail, commercial and industrial property, and commercial leasing. I am regarded by clients as particularly effective in undertaking property due diligence investigations.I also have particular expertise in planning and environmental law. I regularly advises property developers and owners on environmental and town planning matters and effectively become part of my client's project team. I also act for clients in litigation matters in the Planning and Environment Court and conduct planning appeals. My clients include owners and/or operators of residential and industrial properties, hotels, motels, schools, poultry farms, quarries, aged care facilities and shopping and childcare centres.I have been involved in almost every major event in Brisbane and a number of significant regional events throughout Queensland since 2000. I advise sponsors and event hosts on contractual relations with event organisers. From the green of the golf course to the gold of the beach, from raceway tarmac to football field, my experience in matching event deliverables with sponsors' performance outcomes allows contracts to be negotiated quickly and lets my clients get on with the event.
