The WiFi driver allowed the upper layer application to have access to the WiFi hardware without having to know the WiFi protocol.Lead engineer in the development of an LTE eNodeB system which consisted of the Radysis eNodeB protocol stack running on the Interphase 36701 LTE Basestation Advance Mezzanine Card (AMC), the Radysis MME, SGW and PGW core network emulators, the Signalion SRRM Radio card and a HTC LTE Thunderbolt handset running Android OS. Other responsibilities included acting as point of contact for all third party vendors, and deploying the 36701 LTE eNodeB systems to Interphase customers and managing customer issues. Lead software engineer in the development of Interphase 36701 LTE Basestation AMC with Mindspeed T4K ARM core. Ported an open source Linux and U-Boot to the 36701, developed Linux kernel drivers for the ethernet, IPMI, LEDs and SFP, and modified the Module Management Controller (MMC) to support Interphase IPMI OEM commands. Ported the Monta Vista Pro MIPS Linux Support Package (LSP) to the Interphase 36WBS AMC WiMAX/LTE Basestation AMC with Wintegra WinMax Core. Developed the ethernet, PICO chip, LEDs, and SFP kernel drivers and developed sample applications that exercised the drivers.On Interphase 31K AMC Carrier with Wind River PNE Linux and Freescale PowerPC core developed file systems and kernel drivers. Modified U-Boot to run 31K specific commands for setting VLANs and querying the ATCA chassis Shelf Manager. Modified the 31K Intelligent Platform Management Controller to support PICMG and Interphase IPMI OEM commands.Ported the Monta Vista Octeon LSP to the Interphase 36CA Quad-Gigabit Ethernet Packet Processor AMC with Cavium Octeon core.
