Anthony joined Adams and Reese as an associate on the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services and Government Relations Teams in 2016. He brings with him a diverse mix of experience in the legal, political, public affairs and financial services fields.His practice focuses on the intersection where policy, business, politics and the law converge. Whether in the boardroom or the lobby of the General Assembly, Anthony develops innovative solutions to complex business or political issues and works to create business and financial opportunities for his clients.Prior to attending law school, Anthony spent several years working in the political arena. He served as Political Director to a South Carolina gubernatorial campaign, worked as Director of Public Affairs in a leading national communications firm, and represented clients before the United States Congress and South Carolina General Assembly.During his time as a law student, Anthony received multiple honors including the Order of the Coif, Order of the Wig and Robe, and was a member of the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court. He also received CALI Awards in Income Taxation and Legal Writing for the Courts. Anthony served as Articles Editor for the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal and as President of the Federal Bar Association, Student Division.In his spare time, Anthony enjoys traveling to new and interesting places with his wife Kristy. Together they have visited Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, and the USVI.
