About Anthony Quinteros
Wayne State University Graduate with a Bachelors in Computer Science with an overall 3.6 GPA.My story begins at a young age. I was given an older model Dell Desktop and it all started from there in the 3rd grade. Ever since then I have not stopped questioning how and why technology works. I would often disassemble and reassemble basic electronics such as toys I had laying around my room or even other desktops. I had made the life choice to dedicate myself to software engineering. Now, I am here looking to professionally enter the field further and grow with a company.I am looking for a company that I can stick with and grow as an individual with a skillset to tackle the world of tech.A snapshot of my successes:- Cut time to test the configuration of servers within a data center by ~95% by implementing an easy-to-use and safe script written in Excel's VBScript with additional settings that indicate any errors, connectivity issues, with a color coded way to tell whether the server was able to be reached or not.- Sped up the configuration of servers by utilizing Google's "chart" API and Excel to generate repetitive server configuration commands to scan when configuring large amounts at a time by ~75%.- Developed an Uber-like application for mechanics/customers to use to have someone come out and look at your vehicle on demand working with various languages using Angular framework.- Developed the back-end for an application that utilizes the GitHub API search function to gather data based off of a user's repositories and sorts by: title, the most used language in the repository, etc. during a four-hour timed competition based interview.I am seeking to obtain new skill sets as well as hone existing ones with the right company in the right position. Excited to prove myself in the professional space and looking forward to working with veterans in the field.
