Teaching Physics A-level, GCSE and KS3 general science.Working closely and effectively with colleagues, particularly within the science department team.Taking responsibility for the same Form Class for 4 years, which included daily monitoring and providing pastoral support. Voluntarily running an after school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Club. Through this I led a group of pupils to Second Runner-up in the North England final of the Toyota Technology Challenge (2010). This involved design and construction of a solar-powered racing vehicle. We took 8 pupils on the expedition, which involved building a nursery school in one of the rural communities in Northern Malawi.Organising and accompanying a school trip to CERN, Switzerland in July 2014. The trip was arranged for current and prospective Physics A-level pupils in order to enthuse and captivate them with some insight to the most exciting research facility in the world.Managing the Year 9 football team in my free time. Responsibilities include weekly coaching sessions and managing their matches against other local schools.
