About Anthony Simpson
I am an experienced Data Analyst who has developed a data analytics portfolio after building an initial career in Finance. I have developed many key reports in many roles across a variety of different reporting tools. I’ve implemented new software, conducted thorough UAT and produced competent documentation for both a user and maintenance point of view. My strengths include an ability to communicate effectively across all levels and ‘bridge the gap’ between IT system staff, financial specialists, and to communicate technical subjects in a language understandable to the layman.I've utilised many query and analysis tools including SQL, SSRS, Tableau, Athena, Redshift, Python and R and am always seeking to develop my exposure into new and exciting tools. My current role within Wejo is allowing me to get exposure into the concepts of Data Science which is a direction that i hope my career will continue to progress. As i believe with the increasing levels of data available to businesses the ability to interpret that data and utilise it in innovative is key to a businesses success.
