Anthony “A-Ram” Ramos is a Philadelphia native of Puerto Rican descent and currently a Project Director at Esperanza's Faith and Capacity Initiatives and an adjunct professor at Esperanza College of Eastern University. Anthony has managed the Esperanza Youth Leadership Institute and is currently managing the Renovación Pastoral and Thriving Congregations programs. He is involved with special projects and collaborations across departments, works on developing the youth leadership and clergy networks, provides training to those starting out in youth ministry and granting/reporting support to congregations, and organizes events and conferencesAnthony Ramos, who has worked on Esperanza’s Faith and Capacity Initiatives (formerly National Programs) team for seven years, oversaw youth mentoring programs in 7 cities across the country, helped develop and launch the Esperanza Youth Leadership Institute, oversaw and helped the implementation of Esperanza’s Bible engagement (Vive la Vida, Vive La Palabra) program that saw over 2,000 people engaged in diverse Bible reading plans, and spearheaded the highly successful online #GoAndDo Campaign to encourage acts of kindness among people inspired by biblical teachings. He also helped develop and launch both Renovación Pastoral and Thriving Congregations, and helped the department’s shift to supporting regional congregations directly. He senses his call to serve the under-served and marginalized in our community and emphasizes the beauty in urban context.Anthony “A-Ram” Ramos seeks to engage and inspire individuals with his life experienceand faith, and utilizes his music and work as mediums to communicate these. His music played in over 116 countries and has amassed over 500,000 streams across platforms. His music and lyrics coincide with A-Ram’s desire to encourage young people to follow their God-designed destiny; an ideology that A-Ram seeks to embody. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Divinity and has worked in Faith-Based CBOs and Nonprofit organizations serving Pastors, youth workers, and mentoring organizations across the tri-state area. A-Ram had his music covered by VENTS Magazine, The Los Angeles Tribune, and his story featured on Motivos magazine. In 2021, he was awarded the "Distinguished Young Alumnus of the Year award" from his alma mater Eastern University for his service.
