Driving delivery trucks – 26’ box trucks – to construction job sites. Performs pre-trip inspection including walking around truck for visuals before equipment is used, documenting inspection.Checks all product loads before departure assuring product Quantity and Quality and work order request matches.Determines most efficient and safest route before departure to make on time delivery.Examines job sites for safety and operational hazards, discussing any obstacles with senior job site personnel.Gets all proper signatures on paperwork after completion of delivery.Communicates with dispatcher before leaving job site for further instruction on next assignment.Upon return to warehouse, empty and clean truck, then reload for next delivery (same day or next morning).Assists in helping with customer loading in warehouse when necessary.Assists warehouse personnel in putting away material and general warehouse and yard housekeeping.May be asked to assist in maintenance and up keep of facility.Performs other duties as assigned.
