Hello everyone! My name is Anthony. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in hospitality management from Widener University. I have spent my time exploring the numerous segments of the hospitality industry over the past several years. I started my career in the hospitality industry working at Bertucci's Italian Restaurant in my hometown. As I entered my college years, I started working for Hilton Hotels at The Hampton Inn at the Philadelphia Airport as a front desk agent. These two positions instilled in my the fundamentals of providing exceptional service. I later began working for the Walt Disney Company at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. I took on many roles working at this resort including concierge and VIP services. I later took a position with Hershey Entertainment and Resorts working as a banquet manager intern at the Hotel Hershey; I gained valuable leadership and management skills while working in this position. After graduation, I worked with Marriott International at the JW Marriott Essex House New York as a Front Desk Manager where I managed and lead a staff of over 30 associates. I moved industries when I accepted a position as the Assistant General Manager with Related Companies, sharing my customer service and leadership experience in the real estate industry. In all of my roles, I always managed some form of human resources functions and procedures. I transition in to Human Resources when I returned to Marriott International in 2019. I have a strong background in recruiting and onboarding, facilitating new hire orientation and other culture training classes, employee record keeping, employee relations, benefits administration, DEI, and planning and executing employee events.
