At Big Ladder Software, I rotated between three teams within the company on a regular basis based on the needs of current projects and workflow.On the Energy Simulation team, I developed new algorithms and solve existing bugs for open source software in C++ and Python to characterize building physics, HVAC components, and electricity distribution systems in simulation engines. These simulation engines include the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's EnergyPlus engine and California Simulation Engine.On the New Products Development team, I worked as a Full Stack Engineer developing web applications for new services using a Javascript ES2017, React, and Redux front end stack and a C# backend stack.On the Modelkit Development team, I served as a Back-End Engineer developing new back-end application functionality using Ruby.

I create and develop back-end functionality for a custom R language infrastructure using C++, Python, Bash, and Apache2. In conjunction with this back-end infrastructure, I provide front end functionality for these features using Javascript, HTML, and CSS (Bootstrap). In addition to these primary responsibilities, I also maintain company applications cloud infrastructure through Amazon AWS tools, and perform system administration on company Linux development machines.
