The Simply Stormwater treatment and non-treatment models were created, designed and developed by two stormwater professionals with a passion for protecting our environment and water resources. With many years of public education and outreach experience, speaking with residents and making presentations in a variety of public settings, it was obvious that approximately half of the population doesn’t know what happens to stormwater when it enters a storm drain and storm sewer system.Our models are something that children and adults worldwide can relate to as many live in a home surrounded by streets with storm drains, streams, ponds and lakes nearby. These models demonstrate stormwater pollution right at home and educate on ways that the individual can reduce or eliminate pollutants daily.
