I have over 20 years’ experience as a Health and Safety professional and am responsible for implementing our Health and Safety management systems.Before joining HCS Mechanical Services, I worked at Hartlepool Borough Council for 6 years. In my time with Hartlepool Borough Council I have worked on their portfolio of properties which included educational establishments, offices, libraries, leisure centres, theatre, graveyards, garden centres, playgrounds, beaches, coffees shop and grave yards.I will work with the Contracts, Operations and Finance Directors to develop and approve a full set of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for each job and ensure these are fully communicated to all members of the team before the work is undertaken. Ensure all employees have the relevant Health and Safety training for their needs. To liaise with the HSE, Local Authority Safety Department and Fire Authorities. Assess the health and safety of contractors working for HCS Mechanical services. I will undertake announced and unannounced visits on site while work is being carried out to ensure that our Health and Safety Policy and Procedures as well as the RAMS are being adhered to at all times. In addition, I will provide regular advice and deliver relevant training including toolbox talks to all members of the business.
