Lab Technician
Current∙ Collecting, processing, and shipping research samples for clinical trials operations (CTO)∙ Obtain blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary techniques∙ Performing primary trial assignments by maintaining notes, start-up processes, inventory, notes, and knowledge-requirements∙ Validating Specimen Processing appointments for kit preparation and other materials for proper collection∙ Recording and documenting findings to maintain accurate lab records∙ Ensuring specimen integrity by appropriate handling and accurate labeling of specimen, documentation, and requisitions∙ Operated machines to run assays, aliquots, and dilutions∙ Adhering to safe laboratory practices by cleaning and checking work areas, lab equipment, and machines for safe use∙ Managing time and workload efficiently to delegate responsibilities to other staff when appropriate∙ Communicating and collaborating with all staff in CTO, Sponsors, and Clinical/Hospital staff
