My Main duties involve maintaining all computing equipment on campus, including MFP's, PC’s, tablets and multi million pound simulators including a full mission bridge simulator, a one of a kind, state of the art engine room simulator and several smaller sims covering radio communications and cargo handling. Maintenance of these encompasses all aspects including hardware replacements and upgrades along with software installations. Some of the other duties I do included:- * Procuring all items needed for the school to function by dealing directly with staff and suppliers from start to finish to get the best deals for the school whilst making sure our staff get the correct equipment they require.* Maintaining good relations with all staff and students, making sure everyone had access to what the needed to maintain the high level of teaching and education that was expected of the college. * Making sure all staff was aware of how to use new software and training them if they were unsure in any way.* Keeping up-to-date Risk Assessments for the entire campus.
